What is widely known as the San Francisco Bay is in fact a network of interconnected bays which include Suisun Bay and San Pablo Bay. These smaller bays are connected by the Carquinez Strait and the Napa River. Its unique features make the San Francisco Bay a destination for sailing and yachting enthusiasts alike.
Our highly accurate topographic maps are made by cutting thin layers of wood that are stacked to reveal the landscape. The finished wood is then mounted to a teal backer. Each iteration of our maps vary slightly based on the material and handmade nature.
These maps are professionally framed using all acid free materials in a modern black 8″x10″ frame with a white mat, keeping your map preserved for many years to come.
Because of the natural materials, we recommend that our maps are not hung in direct sunlight or potentially damp areas.
