Another often passed by, but perhaps seldom paid attention to uniquely Pittsburgh landmark is the Bacchus face at 1036 S Braddock Ave, at the intersection of Swissvale, Wilkinsburg, Edgewood, and Regent Square. Located across the street from GetGo at the corner of W Hutchinson Ave, he's been watching traffic for at least 30 years. To celebrate Bacchus, we created these fun Pittsburgh stickers, magnets, and ornaments.
All of our stickers are printed on a thick, durable vinyl with a matte finish - great for water bottles, laptops, and just about anywhere. The magnets are perfect for your fridge or car!

In a span of a year, I went from never knowing the Bacchus existed to driving past it almost every week. It's a unique and funny statue .... head .... fountain?? And learning that it STILL WORKS and seeing the 'wine' pour out of it's mouth in real life was truly a sight to see. Thank you for capturing part of what makes PGH weird and wonderful!
I have always liked the Bacchus face on the front of the apartment building on S Braddock Ave so having the magnet on my refrigerator really makes me smile.
I grew up in Regent Square and my family and I are very familiar with the Bacchus statue. I bought one for my sister and parents as well and they loved it. My sister literally burst out laughing when she saw it. Anyway, great buy!
